წიწერნაკაბერდი — სომხების გენოციდის ოფიციალური მემორიალი სომხეთის დედაქალაქ ერევანში. გაიხსნა 1967 წელს, რასაც წინ უძღვოდა 1965 წლის 24 აპრილის ერევნის მასობრივი გამოსვლები, რომელიც ოსმალეთის იმპერიიდან სომხების დეპორტაციისა და გენოციდის დაწყების 50-ე წლისთავს მიეძღვნა.[1][2] 1991 წელს სომხეთის მიერ საბჭოთა კავშირისგან დამოუკიდებლობის მოპოვების შემდეგ, მემორიალი ოფიციალური ცერემონიების გამართვის ადგილად იქცა. მას შემდეგ სომხეთში ჩასული ყველა უცხოური დელეგაციის წარმომადგენელი სტუმრობს მემორიალს და პატივს მიაგებს გენოციდის მსხვერპლი სომხების ხსოვნას.[3] წიწერნაკაბერდის მონახულებაში ასევე შესულია მუზეუმის ტურიც. ზოგიერთმა ცნობილმა სტუმარმა მემორიალთან ახლოს ხეები დარგეს.

მემორიალი მოინახულეს მაღალი რანგის პოლიტიკოსებმა, მსახიობებმა, მუსიკოსებმა, სპორტსმენებმა და რელიგიურმა პირებმა. მათ შორის ყველაზე ცნობილები იყვნენ რუსეთის (ბორის ელცინი, ვლადიმერ პუტინი, დიმიტრი მედვედევი), საფრანგეთის (ჟაკ შირაკი, ნიკოლა სარკოზი, ფრანსუა ოლანდი), უკრაინის, ჩეხეთის, პოლონეთის, საბერძნეთის, საქართველოს, ირანის, ბელარუსის, რუმინეთის, ლიბანის, ხორვატიის და სერბეთის პრეზიდენტები, ასევებულგარეთის, ჩეხეთის და სხვა ქვეყნების პრემიერ-მინისტრები. მრავალი ქვეყნის საგარეო საქმეთა მინისტრი (მათ შორის აშშ-ის სახელმწიფო მდივანი ჰილარი კლინტონი და რამდენიმე მაღალი რანგის წარმომადგენელი ევროკავშირიდან — მათ შორის ჟოზე მანუელ ბაროზუ და ჰერმან ვან რომპეი) — პატივი მიაგეს დაღუპულთა ხსოვნას. სტუმართა შორის ასევე იყვნენ პაპი იოანე პავლე II 2001 წელს, პაპი ფრანცისკე 2016 წელს, ისრაელის მთავარი რაბი იონა მეცგერი, სრულიად ინგლისის პრიმასი როუენ უილიამსი, რუსეთის მართლმადიდებლური ეკლესიის პატრიარქი კირილე I, მსოფლიო ჩემპიონი ჭადრაკში ვლადიმერ კრამნიკი, მსოფლიო ჩემპიონი ფეხბურთში იური ჯორკაეფი, ინგლისელი როკ-ვარსკვლავი იან გილანი, სერბი რეჟისორი ემირ კუსტურიცა, ფრანგი მსახიობები ჟერარ დეპარდიე და ალენ დელონი, ნობელის პრემიის ლაურეატი ფიზიკის დარგში ჟორეს ალფეროვი.

წიწერნაკაბერდის მემორიალი არასდროს მოუნახულებიათ თურქეთის ოფიციალურ პირებს.

მნიშვნელობა და წინააღმდეგობები რედაქტირება

სომხების გენოციდის აღიარება სომხეთის საგარეო პოლიტიკის ყველაზე მნიშვნელოვანი ამოცანა და სოხმური დიასპორის მთავარი მიზანია. მრავალი სომეხი ამ ვიზიტებს განიხილავს როგორც გენოციდის აღიარებაზე ხელმოწერას.[4]

პაპი იოანე პავლე II-ის ვიზიტი 2001 წელს რედაქტირება

პაპი იოანე პავლე II ერევანში 2001 წლის 25 სექტემბერს, სომხეთში ქრისტიანობის სახელმწიფო რელიგიად გამოცხადების 1700-ე წლისთანთან დაკავშირებულ ღონისძიებებში მონაწილეობის მისაღებად ჩავიდა.[7] პრეზიდენტ რობერტ ქოჩარიანთან შეხვედრის მეორე დღეს პაპმა მემორიალი მოინახულა. მან გვირგვინით შეამკო გენოციდის მსხვერპლთა მემორიალი, წარმოთქვა მოკლე სიტყვა და ლოცვა წაიკითხა.[8][9] პაპმა თავის ლოცვაში გამოიყენა ტერმინი „მეც იეღერნ“ (გენოციდის აღმნიშვნელი სომხური სიტყვა, რომელიც ითარგმნება როგორც, „დიდი დანაშაული“), რამაც გაურკვევლობა გამოიწვია იმის შესახებ, შეაფასა თუ არა მან 1915 წლის მოვლენები როგორც გენოციდი თუ არა.[10]

თურქეთის პრეზიდენტი აბდულა გიული სომხეთს 2008 წლის სექტემბერში, ერევანში, სომხეთისა და თურქეთის ეროვნული საფეხბურთო ნაკრებების მატჩის დროს ეწვია. ვინაიდან თურქეთის ხელისუფლება გენოციდის ფაქტს არ აღიარებს, მან მემორიალი არ მოინახულა.[14] სხვა პრეზიდენტები რომელთაც უარი განაცხადეს წიწერნაკაბერდის მონახულებაზე არიან სირიის პრეზიდენტი ბაშარ ალ-ასადი და ირანის პრეზიდენტი მაჰმუდ აჰმადინეჟადი.[15] მათ უარი განაცხადეს მემორიალის მონახულებაზე, რათა კომპრომისზე არ წასულიყვნენ თურქეთთან ორმხრივ ურთიერთობებში.[16][17] 2010 წელს, ევროსაბჭოს საპარალამენტო ასამბლეის თურქეთის წარმომადგენელმა მევლუთ ჩავუშოღლუმ უარი განაცხადა მემორიალის მონახულებაზე, „ეს ჩემი პირადი გადაწყვეტილებაა. მე პატივს ვცემ თქვენ აზრს და თქვენც უნდა სცეთ ჩემსას.“[18]
