Centromyrmex (ძვ. ბერძნ. κεντρο- +μύρμηξ „ჭიანჭველა ნესტარით“) — ჭიანჭველათა გვარი Ponerinae-ს ქვეოჯახიდან. გამოკვეთილი ტერმიტოფაგები.[2]

გავრცელების არეალებია აფროტროპიკის ოლქი. ნეოტროპიკის ოლქი. ინდომალაის ოლქი.[2][3]
სისტემატიკა რედაქტირება
გვარი მოიცავს დაახლოებით 20 სახეობას და იგი პირველად 1866 წელს გამოყო ავსტრიელმა მირმეკოლოგმა გუსტავ მაირმა (გერმ. Gustav Mayr, 1830—1908). დასავლეთი აფრიკის ტროპიკული რაიონების Feroponera Bolton & Fisher, 2008-ის და Promyopias-ის გვარებთან ერთად შეყვანილია Ponerinae-ის ქვეოჯახის Centromyrmex genus group-ის გვარის ჯგუფის შემადგენლობაში.[2]
