According to the rumor, [[სიუზან ბელპერონი|Suzanne Belperron]] (1900-1983), one of the most talented and influential creative jeweler of the twentieth century, had burned her archives. This was just a myth.
Indeed, in 2007, after the death of the residual legatee of [[სიუზან ბელპერონი|Suzanne Belperron]], her archives are discovered: a multitude of drawings, models, casts, sketches, business correspondence, diaries and order books held day by day from 1937 to 1974, photos and newspaper articles countersigned.
