ომარ-ფაშა — ოსმალო სამხედრო მოღვაწე, ოსმალეთის იმპერიის ჯარის მთავარსარდალი.

ბიოგრაფია

1853 წელს, ყირიმის ომის დროს ებრძოდა რუსეთის იმპერიას ბალკანეთის ნახევარკუნძულზე. 1855 წლის სექტემბერ-ოქტომბერში ოსმალეთის არმია გადასხა აფხაზეთის სამთავროში. თავად 3 ოქტომბერს ჩავიდა სოხუმში. შემდეგ დაიძრა სამეგრელოსკენ. 1855 წლის 25 ოქტომბერს ენგურთან ბრძოლის შემდეგ რუსეთის ჯარმა და სამეგრელოს მილიციამ უკან დაიხია და სამეგრელო დარჩა ომერ-ფაშას ხელში. ის ეკატერინე ჭავჭავაძეს სთავაზობდა მის მხარეს გადასვლას და სამეგრელოს მმართველობას. 1855 წლის 14 ნოემბერს ყარსის დაცემის ამბის გაგებისთანავე ბრძანა ულანდახევა, გზად გადაწვა და ააოხრა სოფლები.
