Article 4. Non-Protected Works

  1. Copyright protection shall not be afforded to:
    a) expressions of traditional folklore and art;
    b) daily news or information on current facts and events;
    c) official documents: legal acts, treaties and the official translations thereof;
    d) official symbols and signs (flags, coats of arms, medals, coins);;
    e) political speeches, speeches delivered in the court;
    f) results obtained by technical means without the intervention of human creative activity.
  2. Copyright shall not cover scientific discoveries, ideas, principles, methods, procedures, viewpoints, systems, ceremonies, scientific theories, mathematical formulas, statistical diagrams, rules of games, even if they are expressed, described, disclosed, commented in works.

Comment – According to interstate and international compacts the Azerbaijan Republic is the legal successor of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic and Azerbaijan Soviet Socialist Republic, therefore this license tag is also applicable to official symbols and formal documents of the ADR and Azerbaijan SSR.

    ა) ოფიციალურ დოკუმენტებზე (კანონები, სასამართლოს გადაწყვეტილებები, ადმინისტრაციული და ნორმატიული ხასიათის სხვა ტექსტები), აგრეთვე მათ ოფიციალურ თარგმანებზე;
    ბ) სახელმწიფოს ოფიციალურ სიმბოლოებზე (დროშა, გერბი, ჰიმნი, ჯილდოები, ფულის ნიშნები, სახელმწიფოს სხვა ოფიციალური ნიშნები და სიმბოლოები);
    გ) ინფორმაციებზე ფაქტებისა და მოვლენების შესახებ.
  2. ამ მუხლის პირველი პუნქტის "ბ" ქვეპუნქტში აღნიშნულ ნაწარმოებთა სხვისი სახელით გამოყენების შემთხვევაში შესაძლებელია ავტორის სახელის უფლების დაცვა.
