The solution is to prepend the URL with <code>1=</code>, for example <code><nowiki>{{Officialოფიციალური|1=http://www.example.org/this-url-contains-=}}</nowiki></code> resulting in {{ოფიციალური|1=http://www.example.org/this-url-contains-=}}
